Chaney is currently completing her final year at Charles Sturt University studying a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Graphic Design). Her standout units have included layout and print design, digital/hand-drawn illustrations, brand design and typography.
Alongside her studies, Chaney is a full-time solo mother, first-time entrepreneur and an avid NHL fan. These qualities mean she recognises the significant role time-management plays in everyday life and that passion, dedication and hard work are all essential.
Chaney is inspired by helping develop peoples ideas, her ever-growing collection of vintage design books and magazines and learning new art and design techniques.

The design for the can logo is one that combines a traditional word mark into a label sticker. This combination allows for it to be used in different ways or as a complete piece for stickers and coasters.
Fitting all the typography needed requires lots of decisions. The font, tracking, kerning and placement are all considered to allow legibility in printing.
Adding a touch of colour to the final designs was an important consideration for customer buying the final product. The small amount of colour makes differentiating between flavours much easier.
