Nathan has been creative since before school, being fascinated with colour and shape. This led him to paint, and thus creating a large abstract diptych and accompanying triptych for his final HSC project. Since then he has also created videos and taken thousands of photographs using a variety of methods, including the use of a pinhole camera and darkroom. Fast forward a few years and the decision was made to enrol into university as a mature student. Nathan has focused his research on colour, shape, movement and line and has explored the work of artists and designers including Wassily Kandinsky, Josef Albers, Paula Scher and April Greiman. His studies for the Bachelor of Creative Arts and Design (Graphic Design) have seen him complete assessments in a variety of subjects including sound production, video production, photography, animation and graphic design.
